I got the SmartCarry today and have been wearing it all day with the gun unloaded while I get used to it. It is exactly what I hoped it would be and I love it! I am amazed at how comfortable it is. I've been doing housework, bending and climbing, and walking around, and the gun is totally secure. It feels good when I am sitting and relaxing, too, although with three kids, I don't get to do that very much. I am a full-figured woman (size 22) and I have had so much trouble finding a holster that would work. I found a nice IWB holster, but many of my clothes don't have belt loops and the IWB felt very insecure and tended to shift when I didn't wear a belt. My purse holster had me paranoid all the time that someone would grab the purse.

Let me tell you how I'm wearing it so that other women might benefit. I am not wearing it in the recommended fashion. I am wearing it on my waist, and the gun is in the appendix position (at 4:00). Today I have on elastic waistband shorts and a t-shirt and it's not printing at all. It will be even easier to conceal with my work clothes (suits, blazers and skirts). I have found that it is very easy to draw from, and I like the magazine pouch very much.

It took me a long time to order this because so many of the testimonials on your website seemed to be from smaller, slender women, and I was worried that it would not work for someone like me. Now I'm kicking myself for not ordering it sooner! Thanks for a fantastic product!

I orderd my SmartCarry not long after completing my CCW class 6 weeks ago. It arrived very quickly.

I am a 5'3"-130 lb lady who wears mostly skirts. I was racking my brain as to how I could carry my Star.40 concealed. I read about your product on a CCW forum. With your 60-day trial period,I thought I'd give it a try!

First off, the construction is genuis. Velcro for perfect sizing, denim for washability, lots of thought went into this product.

I started wearing SmartCarry around the house doing my regular chores. It took a few days to find the most comfortable postion/tightness of the strap. I did find that wearing long-line underwear(like bike shorts)kept the strap from touching my skin. But, to me,it screamed "GUN" when looking in the mirror!

For several days,I would put it on after my husband left for work & not tell him until late at night that I had it on. This was with hugging him, making dinner, walking around the house, etc. He could not tell I had it on!

I look forward to being able to go out in public, on my own, & not have to worry about protectiing myself. Your product has helped to set me free!

My wife tried it on and loves it soooo much she wants one for her but she is right handed and wears white a lot.

Mine fit her waist perfect, and held her Ruger SP101 and S&W MPc perfect. She is right handed and wants white, is the only reason she dosen't steal mine.

I put it on soon as I received it and wore it all day and LOVE it.

Thank you for making such a great product for concealed carry! I absolutely love my original one, and can't wait to get the others! Those Marine TUF-CLOTHs are great for keeping a little oil on the guns so that they don't rust from body sweat, too. I find that your SmartCarry is easier to draw from than traditional IWB carry holsters, both leather and nylon. I've never tried a Kydex holster because I find them too bulky and uncomfortable, not a problem with your SmartCarry holster system!

I have a Smart Carry Holster I've used for over a year with my Seecamp and my S&W J frame. It's an awesome holster, one that has given me the confidence to carry. I'm a small female, and carrying concealed can be a little challenging. The Smart Carry is extremely concealable.

You asked for suggestions so I'm giving mine:
Many of us ladies do not wear tucked in shirts all the time, or undershirts like men. So the only problem I have with the SmartCarry is that the Velcro band "edges" do scratch my skin. My suggestion is to stitch on an additional layer of denim on the back side (skin side) of the Velcro band that sticks out a fraction wider than the band itself. That would make the SmartCarry the absolute "Perfect" conceal carry holster ever.

I just wanted to write and tell you how pleased that I've been with the SmartCarry holster. You were very helpful when I called to order and I was really impressed with how quickly the holster arrived after I ordered it. I have been wearing the holster almost every day for the last four weeks (except when I have to take it off to wash it) and I've been very impressed with the comfort and concealability.

What has really impressed me is that I have not had to buy larger clothes, dress around the holster or change what I wear at all with the SmartCarry. Like most women, I do not want to buy a larger size of clothing like you do with most IWB holsters or wear a thick gunbelt at all times - your holster eliminates both of these concerns!

Well, I've been using the smart carry holster for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it! I can do anything I want, from working in the yard to shopping at the mall and no one knows (except my husband) that I'm carrying. I don't wear pants, and this has proven to be an excellent way to conceal without compromising my attire preferences or worrying about my gun being in my purse. And it's comfortable! I just wanted to let you know how much I love my smartcarry! I am a 5 foot 3 inch, 110 pound woman and I carry a Bersa Thunderbolt .380. I could not for the life of me find a holster that worked-- they all stuck out too far, or were too bulky for my small frame, making them easy to see and hard to access. I had resorted to carrying my firearm in my purse, which is really inconvenient considering I could not put my purse down or leave it in my office when I went to meetings, etc. I was also very concerned that my purse would be stolen, or that in a struggle or emergency I would not be able to get to my purse. My new smartcarry is the perfect solution. My firearm is near me, I can actually look down and see it without anybody else being able to, and it fits underneath my clothes easily and comfortably. I love the security that it gives me being able to feel my firearm even though it is completely out of sight. I just wanted to let you know how great I think the SmartCarry is. I've never even owned a gun before and I had to figure everything out for myself. I did a search on the internet and your site was one of the first to come up. How lucky is it that I found such a great product on the first try?

I didn't have any experience with concealed weapons and having a full size Glock, I thought it would be difficult to conceal in any manner. But the SmartCarry really does a great job of concealment with easy accessibility. The construction is solid and it is very comfortable. I'm not sure I am ever going to completely forget that I have it on, but it is very comfortable in both standing and sitting. I've been using it for a month today and I'm very impressed.

One other thing that impressed me was the friendly, professional service I received and the speed of delivery. That is part of the whole sales experience that some companies forget, but not you.

It came yesterday. It's so comfortable. I've already worn it out under jeans, and I wasn't worried at all about printing like I was with my IWB.

After being impressed by my husband's SmartCarry, I ordered one, and yesterday wore it all day long with my .357 Magnum. It proved to be as comfortable, secure and hidden as everyone claims. The only visible hint is a slight lump from the grip of my revolver near my jeans pocket, but absolutely nobody seems to notice that. If I want I can completely disguise it by stuffing my pocket a bit with a kleenex, or by clipping my keyring on my belt loop at that spot, but that doesn't seem to be necessary.

The big test came as I was walking through a parking lot and had to stop for a police car cruising slowly in front of me. The two officers both stared directly at me as they passed within a few feet of me. Having only recently gotten my carry permit, I am still amazed that people are so unaware that I'm "packing", and I feared surely experienced police officers would know immediately what was just on the other side of my jeans, but they looked at me with utter disinterest and drove on. I was almost disappointed and I wanted to call them back and say, "I have a conceal carry permit, and I'm carrying, and look what a really neat new holster I have!"

But of course I didn't, and just went about my business knowing that those officers may not have known it, but there was one lady in the parking lot who will not be a victim of the criminals they work so hard to stop. Here's to hoping their job is easier when good citizens take responsibility for their own protection. Thank you for a product that will help me do that.

It was nice to talk to you... I called you while you were driving and you pulled over to take my order. I didn't take the time to tell you this story because you were busy but I thought you would like to hear it.

My husband recently purchased your Smartcarry holster and has been trying it out with his Sig .380. He was wearing it under his khakis at a restaurant the other night when a waiter tried to set down a large glass of water, and slipped and flung the whole glassful into my husband's lap! My husband immediately jumped to his feet and we saw that the entire front of his pants, from the belt down was soaking wet. Of course the waiter and the nearby patrons were all staring right at his crotch! I am pleased to tell you that there was no imprint of his gun even through the wet fabric, and no one suspected he was carrying. My husband kept his cool and wiped at his wet pants, and the wet seat, and the waiter apologized profusely - never suspecting that just under the pants fabric was my husband's loaded gun. Now, I am absolutely sold on this product as even after this fiasco the gun was invisible and completely concealed.

Dear Folks:

   I received my white medium SmartCarry holster for my Glock model 27 a couple months ago and I've been trying it out regularly since then. It is terrific!

   As a 50+ female deputy district attorney in northern California who prosecutes major drug manufacturers and dealers, it is necessary for me to have a CCW permit and be armed on a daily basis. I spent lots of time and money trying to find a carry rig that would fit my body, lifestyle, and clothing. Your product is it!

   I try to dress to conceal my tummy anyway, so the SmartCarry fits nearly all the clothes I wear to court. Sometimes there are bulges, but I just suck in and carry on and no one has ever commented on them. In fact, I feel very secure with my Glock nestled against my lower abdomen.

   I can reach it easily in pants or under a skirt. It is only a minor inconvenience to sit with knees crossed and no problem using the bathroom. I hate the velcro itch, but keep the back strap covered with my underwear or shirt as you suggested and it rarely bothers me.

   Today the temp was 95 degrees and I wasn't the least uncomfortable with the extra undergarment. I just have to be careful not to bump my tummy against a hard surface (like the sink or a counter or my desk) to avoid an audio giveaway.

   No one but my close colleagues know how I carry. And because it really gives concealment, my SmartCarry works everywhere I go. Sitting is comfortable, as is driving and walking. I don't even notice it most times during my busy day. The only time I don't wear it is in Yoga class, but I probably could, and even do handstands!

   Anyway, this is a long way of saying I love your product and tell everyone about it with whom I discuss concealed carry. I also love looking like a "normal" woman wearing it. Your product is the answer for women who want to carry their firearm every day, no matter how they dress.

I purchased your lower abdomen concealed carry holster some time ago. I believe wearing it and carrying my handgun may have saved my life! Recently, I was approached in an isolated mall parking lot by four young men who threatened me and demanded my purse and keys. I responded by simply raising my t-shirt to my waist and showing them the butt of my ever-present Glock. I did not have to draw my gun at all. One look did it. They ran.
