Smart plan leaving up all addresses...few people update URLs. In fact, if you do eventually go down to one you might want to add a reminder for people to re-add to their bookmarks.
I just revisited and read the FAQs--OUTSTANDING! I don't know who wrote them, but give 'em a raise! There was not one question I could think of that wasn't addressed. This was one of the most comprehensive and complete FAQs I've seen on the web...special kudo's for matter-of-factly handling the "sensitive" subject of how to go to the bathroom with a Smartcarry on. I also thought the pointblank answer for women with dresses/skirts was right on target--life being threatened? Hike the skirt and dust 'em.
Glad to see your company is doing well. REALLY looking forward to getting the products.
Regards
R. W. - VirginiaI just got home in Marietta, Ga. Charlie and couldn't wait to try out my new holster. I put it on and slipped my S&W 637 in (unloaded of course) and then put my shorts back on. The S&W is absolutely invisible. I then loaded it and put it back in and I couldn't tell any difference in the feel or weight. As you mentioned, all of the weight is on the hips and my 637 doesn't weigh much anyway. This is amazing.
I enjoyed meeting you and Carolyn and also talking about flying. I look forward to getting my white holster when you get it shipped. As I mentioned when I was there, I am in no hurry for it so take your time. The denim one is working fine at this point.
I was so impressed with holster, I called a friend of mine in Atlanta right after I left your house. He sent me a email later that evening and said he had talked with you already. My son in law will be interested too I'm sure.
E. H. - GeorgiaReceived holster today - couldn't believe how fast it came! Thank you very much. I gave it to Lee early (VERY early!) and he was so excited! Now he'll stop wearing mine!
Thanks for letting me know about the white. Maybe we'll expand our holster wardrobe in the future!
Take care,
Laura - FloridaI would like to take the time to thank Charlie and Caroline for making such an outstanding product. I first saw the TB after researching several concealed carry holsters on the net. Only a few appealed to me as my requirements were stringent. I had at first settled on the ThunderWare product as I really liked the design concept. Then by luck I found the webpage for ThunderBelt. You guys won hands for quality and wearablity. I ordered mine on Thursday and received it the following Monday (today). Talk about fast service !!! I've worn it all day today doing a wide variety of activities to include washing a S.U.V. (without a shirt, wearing shorts), riding my bike and even playing a little b-ball !!! Not once did my gun ( a Kel-Tec P-11) ever fall out or print.
Nobody knew a thing or asked me if I was carrying. I can't think of another system that allows one to do all this in such comfort at such a reasonable price. Thanks again for making such an excellent product. I will surely recommend it to any who need a holster for concealed carry.
Sincerely,
Jeff - Savannah,GaJust a little p.s. oh yeah, by the way. I recently gave the TB the most arduous test I could think of. My boss, the owner gave me the ok (it was her SUV I washed while wearing only shorts and a TB, she didn't spot it) to bartend while wearing my TB and fully loaded P-11. I'm talking about three bodies deep at the bar non-stop till 3AM. Twisting and turning, bending and stretching, busting my hump all night long. Not once did my gun slip, print or in anyway give itself away. As a matter of fact, I forgot I was carrying because it was sooo damned comfortable! Thanks again for the great work!!!
I can't remember who said it, but "A happy customer is the best salesman you will ever have." I'm sure you guys will have an army of free salesmen. You can sure count on me!
Jeff - Savannah, Ga.
place your order!Your package arrived today, and it (the contents) looks and performs great. Thank you for giving my 'tactical' some place practical to reside. Take care, and thank you again.
Sincerely,
J. C. - Durham, NCThe order arrived this morning, about 10 days after you shipped it. Considering that it was shipped over the Easter weekend, and the consequent delay due to our public holidays, it really is an excellent time.
I see what you mean about the car holster. It's going to save me buying another holster for IWB carry. I'm really glad the order was so quick, as on Friday I am travelling up to my grandfather's farm (~400km), and I would like to be able to have my gun easily accessible (our crime rate being what it is).
I was on a camp last weekend, and wore the Thunderbelt holster the whole time ( 4 solid days including while I was asleep) as I didn't have anywhere secure to keep it. It didn't cause any problems, even though I played some long games of volleyball and was bouncing around on a trampoline, and to complicate matters I was wearing shorts.
Thanks for your excellent service
Keep well & God bless
C. W. - Capetown, South AfricaI bought a holster of yours a while ago, and have been using it ever since. My father likes it so much that he wants to get one as well. His hip circumference is 81cm. The firearm is a Taurus Mod 85 with a 2in bbl. He is right handed.
I would also like to get one of your ACE car holsters. It will be for my Taurus mod 85 (2in bbl). (I'm not sure what size it is) I will also need an extra adhesive strip for it.
I would like to get your Marine-Tuf cloth as well, but I can't see a price on your site. If it is less that $15, please include it in the order.
I would like to have the order shipped quite quickly, so if you can get it off as soon as you can, I would appreciate it. (Last time you shipped the holster in an amazingly short time).
C. W. - Capetown, South AfricaReceived my new holster today and its perfect for what I am looking for. The ultra-lite fits perfectly. Thanks again and I'll be sure to introduce myself next time I see you at a show.
Frank - FloridaI told you I would get around to dropping you a line when I saw you at the show,Thanks for giving me your web add. Like I said at the show, I've been carrying my walther in your thunderbelt for two years now, I bought it shortly after being mugged while working. Since I often work out in the heat I had no way to carry concealed with only a pair of shorts on, well that almost cost me my sight, probably my life and few days in the hospital.
Well just a few weeks ago, I was working in a bad neighborhood repairing a building. Just before I, three employees and two customers were about to leave, (it was closing time,) two armed robbers came in to the store guns drawn. They had the drop on us, and we all were told to eat carpet. They then held a gun to each of our heads in turn from behind and frisked us. They got all of our wallets, and actually reached into all of our pockets- they never had a clue I was armed with thunderbelt and a readily accessible and ready walther. The robbery proceeded quite calmly and efficiently- I knew these guys were pros and resolved not to have a shootout if things continued to go well. I admit I was as scared as I've ever been, but I felt a lot better knowing if things got ugly I could immediately pull my piece.
TO SAY THE LEAST I STILL HAVE MY FAVORITE $480.00 GUN THANKS ENTIRELY TO THUNDERBELT! The owner of the store had a regular waist holster and no longer has his gun now.
Well the robbery did start to go bad, they wanted to know where the safe was. I, and the other employees knew there is no safe, but the bad guys didn't believe the owner. They started to yell and pistol whip him. They finally knocked him down, and by the grace of God, just as I thought we were dead and I was going to pull, they ran out.
The story you have just read is entirely true. We are living in a truly dangerous society, and to believe otherwise is naive and foolish. I am 31 and have been robbed twice, and burglarized five times!!! I encourage every honest American to take a personal safety/awareness class, learn to use a gun, make a sensible purchase of a quality firearm, get a permit to carry it and PURCHASE A THUNDERBELT TO CARRY IT IN !
Charlie has developed a top quality, comfortable, long-wearing, washable, carry device. You have total freedom of dress and movement. With very little practice, I can draw my pistol twice as fast as I could with my snap-strap waist holster. I can honestly say I will never carry any other way, and recommend thunderbelt to everyone without reservation.
Charlie- thanks again, you could very well have saved my life, and I mean it!
Most Sincerely,
C. P. - West Palm Bch, FL
(PS) feel free to reprint any portion or all of this letter.
place your order! It's Xxxxxx, the guy who came to your house twice to purchase the Thunderbelt for my Glock 30 & Glock 26.
I've using it religiously whenever I go out at night. In fact, I start delivering pizzas at night, for extra cash. I didn't wear it the first couple of nights, because I felt too self conscious that someone would notice. But I found myself in very dark parts of town, late at night, so I decided to pack for the third night.
My Glock 30 (.45 ACP) is a bit too wide and makes me look like I'm really excited to see someone, when I'm wearing it. So I don't carry that gun unless I can leave my shirt untucked. Eventually, I'll either loose weight or get bigger pants and will solve that problem. My Glock 26 (9mm) however is almost undetectable, and that's what I've been carrying to deliver pizza.
Real piece of mind.....and your pizza will ALWAYS get delivered to you hot and fresh no matter the obstacles I encounter.
Thanks again for a great product and superb customer service. R.Z. - FloridaI just received the Thunderbelt I ordered three days ago. I must say that the workmanship and quality of your product appears to be flawless. Especially noteworthy are the lack of any seams, per se, and the fit and finish. I am wearing it for the first time and it is extremely comfortable. My Sig P239 fits it perfectly...or is that the other way around? The print is barely noticeable (the P239 is not a small gun) and I think that you have come up with an excellent answer to the question of how do you carry unnoticed. It appears that you are going to have to add me to your rolls of very satisfied customers. Thank you for making a quality product that does exactly what it's supposed to do.
O.N. - Gainsville, FLWell, you were right.
I wore my thunderbelt for the first time last night with a Glock 21, 45 cal. and a spare 10 round mag.
Not only was it comfortable, the concealment even fooled my wife and she knows that I "always" wear a gun unless I'm in a bathing suit or naked.
She also liked the fact that my dress shirt was tucked in, as she hates me wearing my shirt "out" to hide my off duty gun.
So I guess you now have "two" satisfied customers.
I have also got a lot of laughs out of your statement, "A 9mm is a 45 set to stun."
Thanks
Officer P. C.It arrived yesterday. DId I like it? Let's just say I plan to buy several more sizes as funding becomes available! I wore it with my sweats last evening and forgot I had it on. Thanks for making a fine product.
Regards,
C. S. - Redwood City, CAI just wanted to send you a note to let you know how much I like my new Thunder belt holster. I'm able to wear it all day without any discomfort, unlike the Defender belly band holster I tried that became uncomfortable after just a few hours. I've finally found the holster I've been looking for...
My wife and I enjoyed talking to you and Carolyn on Saturday. I hope everything goes well for you with the patent process. By the way, I forgot to ask you for a receipt while I was there, so if you could, I'd like it if you would send me a receipt to the address below.
Thanks again for the great holster!
J. P. - Davie, FL
place your order!I received my Thunderbelt on Tuesday. Thank you for shipping it quickly. It is the most concealable holster I own. I wear it in a slightly unconventional manner. Lower in the front than normal, because of my body style. This is concealable!! (ABSOLUTELY NO BULGE). Have you had any problems with anyone shifting the position of the belt to accomodate their body style? I also own a stainless combat commander .45 (4 1/4" BBL). I tried this in the Thunderbelt and it covers the gun passed the trigger.
Is my belt the correct size for a commander? Do you ever have any problems accidentally dropping the safety on your .45 especially when you do a lot of physical motions like stooping or crawling? If you can find the time I would appreciate hearing from you.P.S.: Please let your Congressman know to vote for HR 218 (reciprocity)!!!!
Thank you,
J. D. - Tualatin, Oregon
Webmaster note: As long as the entire trigger guard is inside the holster pocket, but not so deep in the pocket that you can't draw in a hurry, it is the right size for the gun. J.D. has a size medium Thunder belt, and a medium size will handle barrel/slide lengths up to 4.25", but above 4.25" it needs our large size. When I got home from work today the belt was in my mailbox. I put it on right away to see if it was everything you said it was. I've been wearing it for almost four hours now and I hardly even notice it is there (that is with a fully loaded Browing Hi-power). This belt is far superior to the Defender. If I develop any problems I'll give you a shout.
F. M. - Plant City, FLI apologize for forgetting to write when my Thunder Belt arrived. Thank you for your fast service. I received it on Tuesday after ordering it on Friday, with Monday being a national holiday! This is the most comfortable concealed holster I have ever used. I have asked my wife to tell me when she thinks I am wearing it and she has had a difficult time ever spotting it. I feel that is exceptional since I carry a medium sized .45, a gun I previously could not carry concealed without a shoulder holster and large jacket. I would recommend your product to anyone wanting to carry who desires a high degree of concealment.
Thank You again,
Hi I received my thunderbelt two week's ago and it is the most comfortable and best concealed holster I have ever bought and I have had them all. Keep up the good work thank's again.
C.M. - CaliforniaI forgot to respond when I received my Thunderbelt last week and I am still getting used to it, but I love it! It's surprisingly comfortable with my Glocks and unnoticable. Thank you!
