Charlie,

It arrived this week and it's great. As it stands now, I no longer have to dress around the gun. I've gone to the gym with it the past 3 days and hardly notice it's there. I only take it off when I'm not wearing clothes... amazing.

Charlie,

Just submitted my second order for another SmartCarry. The first holster that you sent to me has worked perfectly and has been everything I expected and more. I've carried it now 24/7 for about three months (Kel Tec P3-AT) with dress slacks, tuck-in dress shirt and tie, with an average of 100-200 people eyeballing me 5 days a week where I work. I'm a school teacher and it would be fatal to my employment if anyone ever noticed I was carrying, even though it is perfectly legal for me to do so, so please don't use my name, but you may post this message as you see fit. I wouldn't be carrying at school if it hadn't been for a student pulling a knife in my class and threatening class members. After taking the knife away from him, I began to wonder what would have happened if they had pulled a gun instead of a knife? Recently I purchased another pistol (Kel Tec P-11) for a little more horse power, and now feeling a little less self-conscious of carrying concealed, plan on carrying it. I could not do this if it was not for your outstanding holster, it is such a comfort to wear, and like others have said, I often forget I even have it on, my wife will occasionally ask "are you carrying today?" But the most important factor is that I have peace of mind knowing that if an incident does occur again, heaven forbid, I will be able to protect my students, who are to me just like my own children. Thanks again for a great product.

Dear Charlie:

I just got the smart carry you send me, and all the things worked as you said.

I bet that a lot of people look the simple denim holster and think: That's it? Brother, this isn't worth 5 dollars, I have been ripped off!.

Of course, when you try it, there is another whole tale. Charlie, IT WORTH EVERY PENNY, AND MORE.

I was using tight jeans and a polo shirt, and I decided to do a little experiment. One of my employees keep a full body mirror in the office, and he's always checking himself before going out of the office.

I start picking on him about that and challenge him to compare to me. We stand side by side in front of the mirror, and even when I was looking for it, a full size .45 colt 1911 didn't print.

After a couple of days I found the spot where i have to put the holster that make me able to sit, walk and stand without problem, and even if I haven't get a hang on the way of drawing, I know I will.

The only thing I did to the holster , was to move the seam half an inch to the right, so making the gun a notch tighter, and giving me the room to put two emt Wilson combat 8 rounder's side by side. this way they are flat and flush with the holster. It's not that there's something wrong with the holster as it is, I'm just a fanatic of customizing things.

This is a really a great product, and I'll be promoting it. Each day it is very comfortable and you can use my name and reference in the website, and if you want a formal statement, I'll do it gladly.

Best regards, and may you sell a million holster this year, that will make a lot of people happy.

Yours,

Subject: Just a note...

Charlie, just wanted to give a little feedback on my purchase of your Smart Carry holster.

I started sewing my own holsters at the age of 10, using old Levis legs cut off to make summer shorts. I whittled swords and pistols from scrap lumber for several years before I started getting serious about the holsters I wanted to carry my weapons of choice in. Sounds a little far fetched I know, but when you start milking cows at the age of 6 before walking to school, (not the fabled 5 miles....just 2 miles), you learn to do lots of things a youngster of today misses out on. While serving in the Navy, I had access to a heavy duty sewing machine and I continued to experiment with holsters and a number of years before concealed carry was an option, I was already carrying concealed and no one ever knew. Your Smart Carry is just a heart beats difference from what I finally decided to concentrate on and ultimately started wearing. Our main difference is in the depth of the holster and the waist band. I had never considered the waterproof material or the security pocket and instead of the extra clip pocket, I carried a pocket knife. I tried using several types of material, but preferred the denim over everything I tried. Your Smart Carry is just about as comfortable to wear as my version, but I had to adjust the way I wore the Smart Carry so it would be the same comfort level as mine. All I had to do was drop it a little lower on my hips so it wouldn't ride up next to the top of my shorts. I am a little long in the waist and have short legs and it was just a matter of finding the most comfortable position to fasten the Velcro straps and let the holster hang. Your seamstress does a fantastic job of sewing the holster together and your choice of elastic waistband material is superb. Not readily available to the everyday tinkerer. I'm glad I decided to give the Smart Carry a try. It came highly recommended by a close friend and I'll give it the old longevity test and if it is as claimed, we will recommend it to other friends. Over the years, we learn by trial and error and I'm glad your product is available for the carrying public and hope to see your products at some of the gun shows me and my friends attend.

Thanks a bunch,

I ordered your Smartcarry Security V for my Taurus 85. The holster is perfect, and has relegated pretty much everything else that I own to the back of the gun safe. My regular work clothes are slacks and a sport shirt, and the Smartcarry makes my firearn virtually invisible, and the holster is very comfortable. The only other holster I use is my fanny pack when I ride my bicycle. Even the Smartcarry prints through Lycra road cycling shorts... Thanks for a great product!

Thank you very much,

First you shipped to me in less than 3 days, I wasn't expecting it for a week or so, and them I spent a few minutes reading instructions put it on and "Unloaded gun" and tried it, WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT, feels good and nobody will know I have it. As I work in Security I have wanted to carry for along time, this fits the bill.

Good morning! I've had my new SmartCarry for almost a week now and as demanding as I am, I can't find anything I don't like about it. I received it only 3-days after ordering it and I'm so glad to finally have a good, safe, comfortable and effective way to carry my Glock 23 with a spare magazine. I also have found another great way to carry my J-frame revolver here in Southwest Florida with our 8 month long summers where shorts and a t-shirt or Hawaiian shirt is the norm for me. I really wanted and needed to find a better way than IWB or OWB to carry the Glock on a regular basis so I heard about SmartCarry and intensely researched all I could to find out about it. There were very many internet discussions/comments about it in the on-line forums and chat rooms. I found both good and bad comments and opinions about it but the more I looked into it, I found virtually all of the bad comments came from people who either had body size restrictions/limitations or never used one and judged it on its looks and assumed it wouldn't or couldn't work correctly or be comfortable. But, let me tell you, my Glock 23 is so concealable and comfortable now with virtually everything I wear including just shorts and flip-flops and even at times with no t-shirt at all! I will and do recommend the SmartCarry holster to everyone. Thanks much!

Sir,

I own two Smart Carry Holsters and LOVE them both! One is for my full size Kimber Custom II 1911 and the other is for my Glock 30. Both holsters conceal my pistols better than I could have ever imagined!! My Dad liked my holsters so much that he now carries his Glock 27 in a Smart Carry. And I've passed the word to some of the Marines I serve with that have also purchased the Smart Carry for their needs. We are ALL very happy with this great holster!! Thanks for a TRULY USABLE concealable holster!! Semper Fi Marine!!

Dear Charlie,

I just received my SmartCarry today. I am absolutely satisfied with it. It's a lot more sturdy than I anticipated. It came in record time as well. If you want to post my comments I'd like to add that I'm 5' 6" maybe a little over 155lbs. I'm old school regular fit levi's wearing type of guy. My Beretta Tomcat is virtually undetectable. There's no need to wear that baggy gansta gear, I can move around, bend over, bring my knee to my chest without any problems at all. Great product!!! My kids were laughing at me as I tested it out jumping and kicking and bending like a freak. It's all good......

Hi all:

I received my SmartCarry and tried my Bursa .380 in it. I had intended to use my SmartCarry just for this pistol. But I found that the hammer of my Bersa pokes my pot-belly something fierce. I was quite disappointed.

So, to remedy this situation I became determined to #1. Get rid of the flab. I've started daily long walks and do exercises. And doughnuts are taboo! #2. I tried my Taurus revolver (hammer is internal) .38 two-inch barrel in my SmartCarry and Eureka! This is the one.

I did insert a short piece of automobile vacuum hose in the bottom of the holster to raise the pistol about 1/4 inch to prevent my Taurus frame from snagging on the top edge of the holster as I made my draw. I chose the rubber hose because it will not compact downward as fast as a piece of folded fabric would over time.

Of course, I could see by the superior design of my SmartCarry that a person with a normal stomach would not have to make any adjustment at all.

I am looking forward to reaching a "normal state" by year-end or sooner so I can wear my SmartCarry holding my Bersa .380.

Bless you for designing such a great holster for concealed carry.

Received my SmartCarry today. Put it on right then. I wear khaki slacks and a tucked polo shirt every day. Put it on put my Kahr PM45 in with an extra mag. Then went into the living room and asked my wife were is the pistol. After a very careful look over she exclaimed I don't know, then I pulled the gun out. She couldn't believe it. I did the same to my 26 year old gun savvy son, he had no clue were the pistol was. Thank you very much for a great product. I feel .45 ACP safe for the very first time.

Thank you Charlie,

I have really enjoyed the other smart carry I bought for myself. I have been using it with a Rohrbaugh 9mm (which is small anyway) and the gun just dissapears. I can wear it in complete confort all day everyday. I was turned onto these by a coworker that loves his and have gotten several of my ccw buddies hooked on them too. You have a great product and great service.

Greetings,

I have been wearing my SmartCarry Holster for about 3 days and it is very comfortable with either my Glock 36 45 ACP or my Glock 19 9mm. What a great product! I can sit walk stand and wear anything from jeans to slacks and the pistols are never noticed. It is very comfortable and easy to wear and put on. What more could a person want?

My own wife cannot tell I am carrying! I am more than satisfied with your great product!

God bless!

Charlie,

Thank you very much for the attention you have given my order this evening. It is great dealing with the Owner of the company and to know that he cares about his business so much that he will continue to exchange emails until 11:30 PM on a weeknight to get a single order straightened out.

I didn't mention it earlier but my little brother was very impressed with your product. He is a future LEO, currently enrolled in a criminology program and will graduate this spring. He aspires to eventually work for the FBI once he obtains both his criminology and law degrees.

He and I both shoot IDPA when our schedules allow, we are hunters and all-around gun enthusiasts. We both have been looking for a deep concealment holster that was also comfortable. After much searching and asking around, a gentlemen behind the counter at Bud's Gun Shop in Paris, KY told me about your product and said that he uses it when he needs the deepest possible concealment with the best accessibility. As you know I ordered one last month and today I ordered a smaller holster for me and one identical to my initial purchase for my brother.

I ordered the smaller one because even though the Smartcarry is a great deep concealment product it still would not allow me to conceal either my full-size 1911 or my S&W M&P 40 while wearing flat-front style casual khaki pants that I wear to work every day (shirt tucked in). I attribute my difficulty in concealing these two guns while wearing my office attire to my 5'-6", slightly-overweight (160 lb) frame and the type of pants I wear. I am able to conceal either of these guns, however, while wearing loose-fitting jeans or cargo shorts. So I bought a Kahr MK40 this weekend and I am getting the small Smartcarry to use with it.

I am currently using the medium Smartcarry with the MK40 with some material stuffed in the bottom of it to keep the grip exposed above the pocket, as you suggest on your website, and it works even with my difficult-to-conceal office pants. I do think that it will be a little less obvious, however, with the smaller holster as I don't have much play in the length of the crotch area of my office pants.

I apologize for being so long-winded but I am very excited and grateful to have learned about and used such a great product and I wanted to let you know about my experiences so far. Besides, if this gets posted on the reviews section of your website it may help some other 5'-6", slightly-overweight framed individual that wears flat-front khakis. It is the only holster I have found that will allow me to wear anything I want, feel comfortable and still feel confident that there is no chance of "being made" while maintaining excellent accessibility. Please feel free to use my comments on your website if you wish.

Thanks again,

Dear Charlie,

Thanks so much for the fast shipping! My smart carry arrived today and I could tell right away that it was exactly what I was looking for. I will recommend this fine holster to all my friends. It is indeed very comfortable and allows for excellent concealability. I didn't think concealing a full-sized 1911 or Glock 22 could be so comfortable. You are living proof that American pragmatism in invention is still alive. Thanks!

Just want to say thank you for such a comfortable product. I got my smart carry this past week, (within days from the order). I put it on as soon as I got it. WOW is all I can say. I am 5' 10" 175 lbs and carry a glock 27. It is so much more comfortable than I would have thought. Like you said, most of the time I forget I have it on. Unlike the inside and or out side the waist band holsters I have tried. I NEVER have to worry about being noticed, ever! I am an auto tech that is on my feet, doing test drives and bending over all day. This is the best carry item I have found. I know this item will wear out before it ever makes it to the shelf.

Been carrying for a year, and nothing was comfortable or handy enough to use consistently, until I came home from the mailbox today. I spent 5 min, finding the right tension and location to wear my new Smart Carry, and another 5 min. practicing, and minutes later forgot it was there. I will probably be getting another one for my 38 spl. This one is for my KT P3AT w/ laser. Thank you for a great holster.
