Hi Charlie,
I have been using my Smartcarry for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that it lives up to every claim that you make. I carry a small weapon (Baretta 950), so I suppose that has something to do with the comfort, but I wear mine all day every day and can easily forget that it is there.
I work at a place that is infested with anti-gun leftists who would make my life miserable if they knew that I was a member of the NRA, much less that I carry a weapon. It is comforting to know that I can carry and nobody has any idea that I do. I have a carry permit, so I am not breaking any laws although I will not say the same about company policy.
Thank you for developing such a fine product.
Xxxx X. Xxxxxx - Clyo, GAHave been using the Smart Carry for about 6 months now and love it! I usually carry my Taurus M-85 .38 5 shot (very small and cancelable) and it works very well with the Smart Carry holster. There is absolutely no way you can tell I have a firearm on my person (except my wife :) I have a funny story about this, but don't want to get into it here) I can even wear it with shorts and no shirt and even a bathing suit...but just don't jump in the water. I carry it often and don't even notice that I have it on until I need to go to the gentleman's room. That's a little awkward at first, but you'll develop your own technique for that. I have recently purchased a Sig Sauer 239 .40 cal., so be expecting my order for another one for that soon.
Thanks,
S. R. - Nashville, TNMy name is Xxxxxxx Xxxx and I purchased a smart carry from you about 2 months ago. You suggested I read several of the customer comments because I was skeptical about your holster, and that's my nature. I purchased several other holsters which I promptly sent back. After using the smart carry, I can now truly understand your enthusiasm for the product. I am very satisfied and consider you to be a very honest man. At the time, your enthusiasm sounded a bit too good to be true, but you are a man of your word: the holster is fantastic. If a law enforcement officer were to pat me down, chances are he or she would feel the butt of the handgun near my right pocket, and that is my only concern. However, I am attempting to join the reserves and therefore, this concern should be moot. In sum, the holster is comfortable, and if I could only use one, this would be it. Many thanks to you and your staff --- Sincerely, M. A.
PS: In the future i might consider purchasing another smart carry, so if you ever sell the business or have problems let me know so i can get my order in !!!!!

Webmaster's note: We informed C that the same size (medium) SmartCarry® that he was wearing would also carry the Mauser M-2 w/ a 3.54" bbl, but if he'd like another holster for the M-2, we'd be happy to oblige him! : )

I have been a holder of a Concealed Carry License in Texas for around 5 years. During that time, I have carried a handgun, but always in a manner that left comfort to be desired. I have used IWB holsters and they were uncomfortable. I have also used regular holsters, but they did not satisfy my personal concealment requirements, plus the fact that they required my belt to be too tight for comfort.
I used the Confident undershirt and it was the best that I had found, but during this summer when I sweat a lot, the gun seems to be trying to hang away from my body to such an extent that my arm was feeling it. Since I was considering getting a heavier handgun, I figured that this situation would only get worse. Plus they become expensive.
I accidentally found your website and was impressed with the testimonials, and especially impressed with your 60 day money back guarantee. After all, what did I have to lose in trying it?
I sent you my stomach measurement of 42 inches and my hip measurement was the same. You told me that this was unusual, but you did not think it would be a problem.I visited my nephew at a gun show and he showed me his Perry Suspenders. They fastened to the belt and it seemed to me to be the answer to the problem that I was already having in keeping my pants up (probably due to the body measurements), I thought that it would solve the problem of holding up my pants, even though I carry a lot in my pockets. I had already ordered your Smart Carry, and I figured that this combination just might work to give my pants support and to give me access to the handgun.
When I got the Smart Carry, I tried it without suspenders and I still had to have my belt too tight for easy access to the weapon. When I tried the combination of the Perry Suspenders along with Smart Carry, it was really what I was looking for.
I am writing this in the hope that it will help someone else who is having a similar problem. One can investigate these suspenders at www.perrysuspenders.com. Joe Perry, like yourself, is very conscientious and works with his customers very well.
I did not need the 60 days to know how well this worked as it was evident right away when I used the above solution.
Gene K. - TexasCharlie,...
I wanted to offer my thanks to you as another satisfied customer! Received the SmartCarry holster in a timely manner and started wearing it immediately. My Glock 19, Smith Airweight, and Kahr K40 all ride just fine in it! It is extremely comfortable during the day at work, both while seated in the office as well as when I work in the warehouse. I used to always worry about "printing" and"flashing" my weapon during the day, but not anymore! It stays safely concealed, but always ready! I still am amazed at the level of comfort when wearing the holster! Believe me, nothing compares!
Thanks again for such a great product! I have told several friends about it and I'm sure they will soon be ordering from you. Best of luck to you and your family.
M. D. - Roanoke, VaI ordered your product a few months back and wanted to give it a reasonable evaluation period before I commented. As a matter of fact, this is the first endorsement of any kind that I've ever offered. First, the delivery time after ordering was very fast. In the rig, I carry a 2 ½" S&W Mod. 19. This is not a small weapon and I am not a big man but it remains well concealed. I replaced the Pachmyr grips with the original skinny wood grips and now my wife doesn't know when I'm carrying. It's very comfortable and accessible. As a corollary to the first rule of a gunfight, "Have a Gun", I offer the second rule; "Be Able to Get to it !! " This concealment rig fits the bill. Quite often, I forget I'm wearing it. I wish I had this when I was working undercover narcotics back in the late 60's. Great product !!!
R. M. - WyomingCharlie,
Received my SmartCarry and have worn it around the house and in the car enough to know you've got yourself a real winner here.
I notice most of the people that have bought your holster have written in with comments. Have read most of them and, apparently, there's only one thing left usaid.
I can get to my gun a LOT quicker than I can get to my xxxxxx. But don't quote me on that.... Thanks for a great product and problem solver. Now what do I do with the several hundred dollars worth of holsters that are no longer needed ??
If I start a used holster website will you give me a link ??
Regards,
H. S. W. - Mountain Home, ARMessage.............: I have had your holster for about a month now, it is fantastic. I have asked my fairly alert friends while I have been carrying if they could tell where it was, they were unsuccessful in detecting it. Thank you very much for making a great product.

Received my Smartcarry yesterday - wow! That was quick - wasn't expecting it until next week! Thanks for the great, fast service.
Gotta tell ya, this is a top quality item. It's easy to see how much pride you put into each unit. Thanks for a great product. I've been wearing it around the house, experimenting with it some. Looks like it will become my primary carry technique. My Glock 27 fits great - especially the extra mag pocket. Thanks again!
J. M. - Mansfield, TXCharlie,
The SmartCarry holster is everything you claimed. I am impressed and very happy to have a holster that carries my Glock 23 in such a way that nobody -- and I mean nobody -- can tell I'm carrying.
I was so skeptical before my purchase that I e-mailed you and even called you because I'm fat and couldn't believe a holster inside my pants could be worn comfortably and covertly. Your assurances and the 60-day money-back guarantee were enough to surmount my disbelief and, even though still skeptical, I figured I couldn't lose.
I didn't. This is a very comfortable holster. I'm 6 ft. and weigh 275 pounds. I've got the build of a (short) linebacker and carry about 45 extra pounds, to boot. I carry a Glock 23, which is not as large as a service-duty firearm but isn't exactly the idea of a concealed-carry weapon. You can't carry it on your ankle unless you have ankles the size of posts. You can't carry it on your hip unless you want everyone to know you have it. You can't carry it under a jacket out here in the Desert Southwest (they'll know you're carrying or you're crazy -- and maybe both).
But I put it in the SmartCarry holster and I've been carrying for days and I sometimes don't even notice it. I carry the handgun and an extra magazine. No other holster will carry my extra magazine. Tell your customers to figure that into the cost of other -- less worthy -- methods of concealed carry.
The point of this story is not just the accolades I wanted to send. The point of this story is to tell you about all the "experts" with whom I discussed concealed carry that told me this type (weapon in front, below the waist, inside the pants) of holster wasn't worth the effort.
One expert told me how uncomfortable it was. Another expert told me how hard it would be to "present" the firearm in case of need. Another told me that everyone would know I was carrying a concealed weapon or stealing a banana.
No one -- not one -- even suggested I should try it. They all said it was a failure as a concealed-carry method.
All of them were wrong and I feel very superior to have overcome my skepticism and their prejudices and ordered the SmartCarry holster. I'll be carrying my Glock in the heat of the summer. I'll have my firearm with me in sensitive situations where clients would be uncomfortable with their consultant carrying a pistol. I won't leave my firearm behind just to avoid the way some people shun you when they learn you carry. No one will know.
I was carrying for the third day when I commented on my holster to my beloved wife. I told her how comfortable and concealed it was. She admitted that she could usually couldn't tell when I wore it and added -- "but you're not wearing it now." I corrected her. I was wearing it and even she couldn't tell. She was surprised and so was I. I thought that since she knew how to identify the tell-tale signs that I had my SmartCarry and my handgun, she would recognize it when I carried.
So even if your spouse -- who knows you and knows how to tell if you're carrying your gun -- can't tell, who can?
I have no excuse not be armed, now. And I'm growing more comfortable in the knowledge that nobody will know.
Thanks for making a good product. Thanks for sending it faster than I thought possible for the postal service. It got here faster than a Randy Johnson fastball (a little Diamondbacks reference for those who don't follow baseball).Carrying, Concealed, and Comfortable in Phoenix, Arizona (and feeling pretty smart),

(like all of your clients, please protect my identity if you use my letter in your testimonials)Dear Folks:
I received my white medium SmartCarry holster for my Glock model 27 a couple months ago and I've been trying it out regularly since then. It is terrific!
As a 50+ female deputy district attorney in northern California who prosecutes major drug manufacturers and dealers, it is necessary for me to have a CCW permit and be armed on a daily basis. I spent lots of time and money trying to find a carry rig that would fit my body, lifestyle, and clothing. Your product is it!
I try to dress to conceal my tummy anyway, so the SmartCarry fits nearly all the clothes I wear to court. Sometimes there are bulges, but I just suck in and carry on and no one has ever commented on them. In fact, I feel very secure with my Glock nestled against my lower abdomen.
I can reach it easily in pants or under a skirt. It is only a minor inconvenience to sit with knees crossed and no problem using the bathroom. I hate the velcro itch, but keep the back strap covered with my underwear or shirt as you suggested and it rarely bothers me.
Today the temp was 95 degrees and I wasn't the least uncomfortable with the extra undergarment. I just have to be careful not to bump my tummy against a hard surface (like the sink or a counter or my desk) to avoid an audio giveaway.
No one but my close colleagues know how I carry. And because it really gives concealment, my SmartCarry works everywhere I go. Sitting is comfortable, as is driving and walking. I don't even notice it most times during my busy day. The only time I don't wear it is in Yoga class, but I probably could, and even do handstands!
Anyway, this is a long way of saying I love your product and tell everyone about it with whom I discuss concealed carry. I also love looking like a "normal" woman wearing it. Your product is the answer for women who want to carry their firearm every day, no matter how they dress.
Thanks so much,
K. H. - CAHey Chuck,
Just a note to tell you that I really love my concealment rig, very comfortable!!!!! Here's some info on my business, do yourself a favor and check it out!
Thanks again,
J. S. - Easley, SCI purchased a Smart Carry holster for my Glock 27 about a month or two ago. I must say I love it. This is absolutely the best method for anyone who has a concealed carry permit. It took no time at all for me to break it in. I've worn it up to 12 or more hours without any problems. Thanks for such a great product.

place your order!You're welcome, Mr. Parrott;
The Smart Carry works as advertised, and offers a significant alternative CCW option for warm seasons or climates when a "cover garment" would be distinctly uncomfortable or out of place. Though a number of folks might choose a "tuckable" holster under these conditions, your rig is more comfortable and stable than any of the "tuckable" belt holsters which are carried IWB, but covered by the outer shirt.
I've been practicing CCW for nearly 20 years, and interestingly, the Smart Carry is similar in design to the first rig I ever made for my own use back in '85, at a time and place when the necessity for a higher degree of discretion prohibited the use of a typical belt holster. Yours is much better than the one I made, of course, as well as much more comfortable!
Having always carried "full size" guns (caliber 9mm and larger), and having used every approach to CCW available at one time or another, including OWB, IWB, and "tuckable" holsters, as well as "belly bands", chest pouches, fanny packs, ankle rigs and shoulder rigs, I have a fairly good experiential knowledge of what works and what doesn't, as well as of the trade-offs in comfort and convenience necessary in using certain carry options. The Smart Carry fills a particular CCW niche quite well.
I ordered the second one so I could rotate the two, and not wear out the first one so fast, and will likely order yet another with the "hidden pocket", since it makes a good substitute for a money belt when travelling!
Thanks again.
B. M. - Salt Lake City, UTCharlie,
Well, I received my smartcarry a few months ago. It works well. My jeans were a little tight. (Cuz i wear em tight, not because of the holster). So I switched to a larger pair.. Works great!!! I got a bit of a gut and that hinders the draw a little.. So I'm sure once i lose a little more weight it will be just right.. Anyway, just thought I'd drop you a line and tell you and others what a great product you have.
keep up the good work.
J. D. - Waterford, MII just got my smartcarry and so far I am surprised as well as impressed. I put it on an slid my 1911 down my left hand draw smartcarry and it was perfect!
It will be a long time until I buy a new holster. I will be placing an order for my wife. She is a size 5 to 7 in dress size. Don't know exact measurements. She is 5foot 4 and 125# weight. She is right handed.
I can't wait to show my shooting pals.
Thanks,
K. J. - Grand Rapids, MichiganI've been wearing one of your large SmartCarry holsters for a couple of years now. Because I carry a full-size weapon (an IMI Baby Eagle .40 S&W), I have an occasional "bulging crotch" problem. The bulge itself isn't necessarily an issue, but the outline of the pistol butt is very easy to spot when I'm wearing shorts or slacks that are made of relatively thin material, or are a bit tighter than usual, especially when they're not pleated-front. I often require very deep concealment, so this issue forces me to either restrict my wardrobe choices or not carry, especially in the summertime. This morning, I thought I'd try something a little different, and I reversed my holster so that the strap holds the pistol butt against my body. It's now a left-hand draw, probably just a tad more difficult to draw, and certainly harder to re-holster, but it's virtually unnoticeable even with thin, flat-front shorts. I'm going to wear it this way for a few days and see how it works out...I may have to order a custom "reverse-panel" holster from you at some point.
Thanks for a great (and eminently flexible) product.
J. G. - Bryan, TX
Webmasters note: Now this is definitely a new way to wear a SmartCarry® holster! Very innovative on J's behalf, but I think I'll still put mine on with the grip facing outward! :) And in over seven years of carrying this way, no one has ever picked up on the grip of my 1911 or connected it with a firearm, until I tell, or show them! But I almost always wear jeans.
WOW!!! that was fast!!
Charles, I got the Smart Carry today already...I LOVE IT!!!
I have been wearing it around the house for a few hours already!
I even did some yard work, and didn't realize until I was done, that I still had it on!
Thank you so much for your fine product, and thank your wife for me for delaying you the night u left.
If u ever need a spokesman in the Chicago suburbs let me know. Thanks Lots!!
